The Mirror is Calling is the third release from singer/songwriter and producer Sunstoney. On this EP, Sunstoney leans more into her love for 2010’s indie r&b/pop while exploring themes of nuanced isolation, nostalgia and a higher sense of self. After a major cross country move in the spring of 2023, Sunstoney encounters the true meaning of being in tune with thoughts and feelings left on the backburner. She addresses the trials and tribulations of balancing a corporate job and being an artist, the nostalgia of her youth, and what being alone with no distractions of community can do in that isolation.
